Val-David is renowned for the fact that many artists and craftspersons have taken up residence.  Many of them open the doors of their workshops, which often double as galleries and boutiques.

Make sure you drop in to La Maison du Village Exhibition Centre, and wander along the Allée des artistes (Artists’ Alley) where artists and craftspersons from various disciplines exhibit their work for sale throughout the summer, mainly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

From mid-July to mid-August, don’t miss the 1001 Pots, the largest ceramic exhibition in North America.

The Fondation Derouin presents Les Jardins du précambrien, art trails on a wooded site, with performances, conferences and recitals.  Open Saturdays and Sundays, from mid-July until early September.
