Visitors - Advisory Committee on Tourism (CCT)

In 2006, the Comité consultatif sur le tourisme (Tourism Committee) took over from a former committee run by local businesspeople.

The committee’s mission is to act as a catalyst in the efforts made to promote and develop tourism for Val-David, with its principal mandate being to define an action plan and see that is carried out, as well as ensuring continuity and fluidity of development.

Committee members handle all questions related to tourism, and ensure a bi-directional flow between municipal representatives and actors in the tourism sector.  The existence of this committee helps to promote consultation and the distribution of information among all those concerned with tourism issues in the area.
