Val-David is a town of almost 4,500 permanent residents. The services offered to its population are in constant evolution.
An elementary school operating on two sites welcomes children from the community, and high schools offering a range of programs (sports, dance, music, language) are located within half an hour of the village. School transportation is organized by the local school board, the Commission scolaire des Laurentides.
Parks, playgrounds and a completely computerized library give our young people the opportunity to grow in an exceptional environment.
Within the village you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, renovation centre, video club, laundry, bars, bistros, restaurants, sports equipment rentals and much more to answer to all your needs. The local hospital, the Centre de santé et des services sociaux des Sommets, is located some 10 kilometres away and includes hospital services, a CLSC and long-term care facility. A large number of other organizations offer services and activities to residents of all ages.
