Today’s cultural institutions are in very large measure the product of the efforts of a group of pioneers, known as the Créateurs associés.

Our notoriety as a cultural centre and artistic village also owes much to the existence of the famous Butte à Mathieu which drew some of the most famous of singers to Val-David.

Today, many people from the arts and crafts communities have elected to take up residence in this environment, which is so favourable to creativity.  Some of them may choose to maintain a more discreet lifestyle, keeping out of the public eye, but all of them offer us the very best of themselves.  A world to discover!
