Culture - Advisory Committee on Culture (CCC)

The Comité consultatif sur la culture (Culture Committee) has the mandate of proposing certain actions to Council with a view to maintaining and enhancing the cultural identity of Val-David, while collaborating closely with local artists and craftspersons and acting as a link between the artistic community and the general public.

Members sitting on the CCC have a wide range of knowledge about art and culture in general, and the local milieu in particular.  They must be able to identify needs and find creative ways of responding to them.

The Committee is currently reviewing Val-David’s cultural policy.
