The Mayor

Dear fellow citizens,

I take great pleasure in presenting our new website to you.  It has been completely reworked and presents an exhaustive overview of the activities taking place in our community, in general, as well as those of the Municipality of the Village of Val-David and its administration, in particular.

Under the heading Citizens, you will find more information than ever about the range of municipal services.  We trust that you will find answers for any questions you might have, and that you might even discover something new, of which you were not aware.

Given the time and the means, we intend to keep on improving the site and we invite you to send in your comments and suggestions. In this way, we will be able to respond more directly to your concerns.

Most of the forms we use are now available as downloads.  You will therefore be able to complete them even before coming to the municipal office. This applies to permits and certificates, and we trust this method will help save you time.

Under the heading Visitors, as the name suggests, we invite all those who might like to come and experience our village for themselves, to see what we have to offer. At the same time, it would not surprise me if some of our citizens also make some new discoveries in this section, and find out what it is that attracts so many tourists!

Lastly, under Nature and Culture, you’ll find everything that for so long has made Val-David such a special place, indeed a world apart, yet one that we are always ready and willing to share.
