Permits and Certificates
Applications for permits and certificates must be presented by completing the appropriate form and by supplying all the information and documents specified in the form. Forms can be downloaded in PDF format, which you can print and fill out before coming to the Municipal Office.

For a minor variance application
- A minor variance application must be made in writing (no form available) and state:
- the details of the existing minor variance or the planned minor variance including the reasons for which the project cannot be carried out in conformity with the prescribed by-law;
- demonstration of a prejudice caused to the applicant;
- demonstration that the minor variance will not impede the right to enjoyment of property by any proprietors of neighbouring properties;
The application must be accompanied by visual elements (plans, photos) and the survey certificates of any existing projects. The reasons for which the project cannot be carried out in conformity with the prescribed by-law must also be stated.
For a housing development
- A request for a housing development must be made in writing (no form available) and be accompanied by a subdivision plan produced by a land surveyor.
