Permits and Certificates

Applications for permits and certificates must be presented by completing the appropriate form and by supplying all the information and documents specified in the form. Forms are available at the Municipal Office. Some of them can be downloaded in printable PDF format from the Publications section (top of your screen).

A form has to be completed…

• For construction, renovation, extension of a main building
• For construction of a garden shed or garage
• For all renovations or repairs; for fences and hedges
• For demolition
• To install a sign, once PIIA-approved by Council
• For sanitary installation and water catchments
• For tree felling
• To install a swimming pool or spa
• For watering outside the hours permitted (conditional)
• To install an alarm system
• To request a connection to the Municipal water and sewerage systems
• To request a waste bin (black or green):
• For landfill/excavation:
• To build an inter-generational dwelling
• For a minor variance application
• For a housing development

No form is needed for domestic burn-off.  Just present yourself at the Municipal Office to obtain a permit.

Most application must be accompanied by visual elements, which are specified on the appropriate form.
