Fondation médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d’en-Haut

Since its creation in 1990, the Fondation médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d’en-Haut (local hospital foundation) has raised more than $5M for the acquisition and modernization of equipment at the local and regional hospitals CSSS des Sommets and CSSS des Pays-d’en-Haut.

The major fundraising campaign launched by the Foundation in fall 2006 had the support of all mayors in the region, who act as its ambassadors.

It was in this capacity that our Mayor, Mr. Pierre Lapointe, who is also a doctor and Director of Professional Services at the local hospital (CSSS des Sommets), solicited the financial support of the residents of Val-David.
