More and more young families are choosing to come and live in Val-David. Registration for recreational activities and day camps proves this more than ever.
Fully conscious of the needs of these young families as well as those of older residents, Council intends to implement a family policy, to be used as a framework for both reference and action, which is favourable to families in all sectors of activities in which the Municipality has a role to play.
A committee set up in the spring of 2007 is already working to develop this family policy, which is to be published before the end of 2008 with financial and logistical assistance from the Quebec government. |
